This hotel is located in a great spot, with the ski lift just behind the building, and a variety of restaurants and bars within walking distance. the staff is friendly and helpful, providing discount arrangements on lift tickets and rentals. the clean traditional Japanese style rooms with warm atmosphere are comfortable, and there is a convenient elevator for those with larger luggage.

The onsen and some parts of the hotel are slightly worn out and may require maintenance.

It is very close to the airport. A few steps away from Pomodoro, where you can have lunch. Would recommend the hotel. A vacation base for exploring Myoko...

We've stayed near Akakura Onsen ski area on multiple trips and always had a great experience here.

The breakfast was nice and included both Japanese and Western style options. the rooms were kept clean during our stay, and we really appreciated the onsen which was perfect to relax in after a long day of skiing. the location of the hotel was also a plus, as we were able to walk to the ski lift and nearby restaurants easily.

the hotel appeared worn down and outdated, and the staff did not make us feel particularly welcome or valued.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel facilities were great with a lovely onsen that was open all night long. The staff was incredibly accommodating and patient, providing us with ample information about the ski resort and the nearby restaurant street. The location was perfect as it was only a short walk away from the ski lift and main street. We were also impressed by the cleanliness of our spacious room and the delicious breakfasts that were available in both Japanese and western styles.

Can't fault the property in any way.

The slippers provided were quite small, which may be uncomfortable for those with larger feet. the hotel was not as updated as we had hoped, with some wear and tear visible.

The ryokan room was clean, warm, and traditional. The owner/receptionist was welcoming and kind. The location was great and close to bars and chair lifts. The onsen was tattoo-friendly and open all night. The breakfasts were fantastic, with options for both Japanese and Western food.

There was nothing I didn't like.
